Applicants for the program must have been accepted into a master's or doctoral program in their home unit. They may then apply to the Collaborative Program by writing to the Director giving information about their backgrounds and relevant interests, identifying the degree and home unit for which they are applying, by April 1 for September admission. Advice is available from the Director and the Program Committee:

In order to qualify for admission into the Graduate Collaborative Program in Women and Gender Studies (CWGS), applicants must be offered admission to a home graduate degree program. Applicants to CWGS should have some background in Women’s Studies, Feminist Studies and/or Gender Studies.
