Advanced Topics in Bilingualism and L2 Acquisition: Linguistic Approaches to Language Acquisition of French

This course examines how adult learners acquire various aspects of French language. It also provides in-depth, practical training in methodological design and quantitative analysis culminating in students’ undertaking of individual experimental studies.

Oral presentation (15%); Project (Written proposal 30%; Written Methodology 20%; Oral data analysis report 20%); Participation (On-line discussion board 5%; In-class 10%).

Prerequisite:

FRE376H1, FRE378H1, FRE383H1, and FRE388H1/JFG388H1 or equivalents as approved by the course instructor.
