The Global Languages Initiative is excited to announce this year’s Language and Culture Day held on Friday, March 10th from 2pm to 4:30pm in Father Madden Hall at St. Mike’s College. Whether you are interested in expanding your existing knowledge of a language, deepening your connection with your linguistic and cultural heritage, or are simply curious about foreign languages and cultures, you are all invited! Bring a friend and discover the great variety of languages that are taught at the University of Toronto, St. George. You will have the opportunity to take part in language and culture based activities, to mingle with professors, as well as graduate and undergraduate students from 14 different programs, and learn more about our offerings, the research, study, and internship opportunities abroad.
Students currently enrolled in language courses can earn extra credits/bonus points toward their overall course grade by participating in this event. To earn these bonus points, bring a friend and take a selfie at the event, write a short paragraph about interacting with three different languages, and submit this to your Instructor.
