Description

Dear all,

The Old French Reading Group will take place this term on Thursday evening, in principle from 5 pm to 7 pm, although we will sometimes have to make accommodations for lectures (we will re-discuss the best way to proceed during the first meeting). We will meet in Teefy Hall 103, starting this Thursday, 17 January 2019, at 5:10. We will read the Old French Eructavit. The edition by T. Atkinson Jenkins is freely accessible on Google Books and the Internet Archive, but I will also bring photocopies.

Newcomers are always welcome! The group is entirely optional and open to everybody who has passed the Old French Language course (FRE 471 or FRE 1164), or has learned some Old French elsewhere, and is prepared to participate actively - no mere listening-in!

  Please spread the word!

Have a good start of term and hope to see you soon!
